Membership Covenant

Pneuma · Frontera — sacramental circle

This covenant is entered by individuals seeking membership in Pneuma · Frontera, the southern New Mexico circle of Pneuma (a Saba Cooperative mission). Fellowship in Ashland does not require this covenant. Sacramental participation in Frontera does.

I affirm

Sincere religious purpose. I seek membership for spiritual development and religious community — not recreation, legal circumvention, or commercial gain.
Statement of Faith. I have read and align with the Pneuma Statement of Faith, understanding that perfect agreement is not required but sincere participation is.
Saba affiliation. I understand Pneuma is a mission of Saba Cooperative and that I am joining a religious community, not a clinical service.
Guide authority. I accept that sacrament is held by Pneuma guides according to Guide Standards. I will not ask guides to operate outside those standards.
Preparation & integration. I commit to preparation before sacrament and integration afterward — including fellowship attendance and assigned study — as part of religious practice.
Confidentiality. What is shared in ceremony and member gatherings stays within the circle unless disclosure is required for safety.
Safety disclosure. I will honestly disclose relevant health conditions, medications, and contraindications to guides before sacrament. I understand guides may decline participation if safety requires it.
Non-aggression. I commit to no force, fraud, or coercion — toward members, guides, medicine, or the wider community.
Reciprocity. I will contribute to community sustenance through agreed offerings of time, care, or material support — not as payment for sacrament but as mutual aid.
Geography. I understand sacrament is held in the Frontera circle (southern New Mexico). Pneuma · Ashland is fellowship only.
